The Competency Test is compulsory to the Bengers as a requirement to the course. For the test, everybody had to set up the theodolite and book the 'face left' reading within 15 mins. Some did quite well and some had a hard time to complete, mainly bcos of the pressure to finish the thingy within the given time. However, the ones that didnt get it the 1st time were given another chance towards the end and everybody managed to pass the test. This test is quite important in a way that speedy setting up is the key for the upcoming Survey Camp which will held in June after the exams.
